Essential Line Dances 1

Home > Dance Lessons Instructional DVD Video

D007 Country Dance Lessons DVD - Country Dancing Instruction. Shawn moves a little bit faster through these dances than he does in the Quick Start Guide as well as in Party Line Dances being that he's not explaining how to do each and every kind of step; however, the instruction is still very thorough and set up for beginners. The Essential Series was put out to help provide a foundation of popular line dances that you can find anywhere. Shawn makes it easy enough for anyone to pick them up as it's presented many different ways in a professional and fun manner. The Essential Line Dance series will rapidly increase your line dance knowledge, expertise, and proficiency. On Essential Line Dances Volume 1, Shawn Trautman teaches you a variety of line dances that are perfect for anyone who's still fairly new to Line Dancing, yet not a complete beginner. This DVD includes well over an hours worth of instruction on the following fun dances: Cactus Cha-Cha (Neon Moon) - 26 counts; The Cowboy Twist (Hey Bartender) - 28 counts; Redneck Girl - 24 counts; Boardwalk (La Grange) - 24 counts; Ten Step - 24 counts; County Line Cha-Cha (Darlene) - 20 counts; West Coast Shuffle - 32 counts; and more... Filmed in HD and presented with multiple camera angles and Picture-In-Picture technology, you won't want to miss how easy these dances can be with the right instructor. If you've never danced before, Shawn Trautman's Line Dance 101 is your best starting point for line dance lessons and should precede this DVD. Once you've mastered Essential Line Dances Volume 1, keep on dancing with more of the all-time most popular line dances with Essential Line Dances Volume 2. I am a beginner learning line dances and I bought this CD to get myself started. The lessons are taught step-by-step and are easy to follow since the instructor shows you a few moves at a time and shows them from different angles. You build on previous moves and before you know it, you're dancing. I have already applied some of the dances at a local club, and I was so proud that I was able to do them. I completely recommend this to anyone, beginner or not, if you want to learn the dances on this CD. I never floundered, never got lost and practiced a few times and had it down pat. The instructor really knows how to teach. I own many dance instuction videos and DVD's, but they're all collecting dust. Not, Shawn Trautman's. I have 4 of his now. This is the best instuctor out there. Anyone, and I mean anyone can learn to dance with his DVD's. I've been looking for a way, other than the treadmill, to get some exercise indoors and I remembered what fun and what great exercise line dancing was. A long time ago I used to go to a country line dancing bar and I had so much fun there. I searched the internet for a Learn to Line Dance DVD and decided to get this one because I knew if I liked it, there were more in the series. I've gone through the DVD two times now and I feel like I can do the dances to real music already. The dances are broken down in a way that make them very easy to learn. You can also get a play list of suggested music on Shawn Trautman's website to practice the dances with. I do have to admit, I feel a little ridiculous line dancing all by myself in the living room. But who cares, right? Now that I have the play list I'll just turn the music up loud enough so that I won't hear the neighbors laughing at me when they drive by and see me through the windows.
